Treatment philosophy
Good dental care comes down to an accurate diagnosis and a result that lasts. Implants and prosthodontics in particular cannot be judged on a single tooth — they have to work in harmony with the whole bite to last. Drawing on deep prosthodontic training, Dr. Lee looks at the entire mouth when planning treatment.
Academic research
Dr. Lee co-authored a journal article on implant occlusion (the biting force on an implant) and the management of occlusal overload — "Implant Adapted Occlusion" (Journal of the Korean Academy of Stomatognathic Function and Occlusion, 2004, co-author). He researched implant osseointegration during his master's studies in prosthodontics at Seoul National University, and co-authored a clinical case study on complete dentures for edentulous patients using the Neutral Zone technique.
